Brenda Clark is a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Brenda is the FCIC Employment Team Coordinator and vice present of Florida APSE. Since 2007, she has provided technical assistance and training to Florida’s Supported Competitive Integrated Employment Training Team (SCIETT). In addition, Brenda provided support to local communities to develop capacity through establishing Active Employment Councils to demonstrate best practices and strategies for community collaboration and sustainability of quality networking to support employment options for persons with developmental disabilities. Brenda has experience in the areas of organizational change and personal outcome measures. She was one of the four original Statewide CORE trainers for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities and she was a Quality Consultant throughout the nation for the Council on Quality and Leadership.
Brenda has successfully completed training and assessments to become a member of the Florida Benefits Information and Referral Network (FBIRN) and the Social Security Administration Work Incentive Program training and assessments for certification as a community work incentive consultant facilitated by Virginia Commonwealth University. During the past ten years she has cross trained with school districts focusing on enhancing the quality of services for employment options in the Sun Coast Region of Florida as the Supported Employment Liaison with the State Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD).
