In response to near universal requests by Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies in the Southeast region for technical assistance relating to the ORDER OF SELECTION (OOS) provision, Robert “Bobby” Silverstein will present the findings of his recent (October 2008) study of the OOS provision. The policy analysis, which was conducted in partnership with the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR) for the Rehabilitation and Research Training Center (RRTC) on Vocational Rehabilitation, includes a review of the federal policies relating to OOS as well as policies issued by selected states.
