CCD Recommendations

  1. Programs and agencies should inform young people with disabilities and their families how to access programs, services, activities, and supports that help them gain access to chosen post-school options, including:

  • Programs and eligibility requirements,

  • Benefits planning,

  • Accessible transportation and housing,

  • Mental and physical health services,

  • Personal assistance services and supports,

  • Independent living centers, and

  • Assistive technology.
